Just checked Wickapaedia and unless they are wrong Headington United was renamed Oxford United, to give the club a higher profile.[1] in 1960

Amazing to think that Maxwell changed his mind after the price went up to £15,000,000 -he'd be staggered if he was alive to see your average Premiership player 'earning' that in a couple of seasons!!
