I would be more then happy to have it standing but I dont think it would go that well with the rest of the ground. Think we could be waiting 5yrs before we have a 4th stand

Think we could be waiting 5yrs before we have a 4th stand I honestly don't believe you can put a 'guess' of how long it'll take for another stand to be built. Unless you can estimate on when we get promotion to the Championship. Then there is the thing about 'when will WE own the stadium'?

I was thinking maybe 2/3 hrs before we buy the stadium, then other 2/3yrs to find the money to build the 4th stand. A lot of it is being optimistic. Could be 20yrs, could never happen, we never know. If crowds keep growing at a steady pace, I'm sure they would look into building the 4th stand before we get to the championship (maybe average over 9/10k) (and also when we own the stadium)

Why doesn't anybody else know about this?!! ;D

I believe the agreement is that the stadium company must build the 4th stand withing two years of the club reaching the Championship. So, another couple of years to reach the Championship and two years after that makes 4 years. ;D

I don't think there is any point in building a fourth stand if it's not all seater, the club will only have to spend more on it putting in the seats.
I hope that whenever its built it includes a supporters club and the club shop. I hope it is properly finished and then made the new main home terrace as it's nearer the majority of parking and the facilities.
One day...

Can't we just put a temporary terrace there? I mean really how much can a simple bank of concrete that holds just enough people to satisfy demand, really cost?
If we get to the Championship we can erect a (sadly) all-seater proper stand - replica of the East Stand but with yellow seats!

I would definitely prefer it to be a terrace for home fans - along the lines of the German safe standing model.
Not sure if we would actually be allowed to have a terrace though as we have been a Championship level club previously. Does anyone know the exact ruling that would be applicable to us?

If they made it a Home stand, would away fans be moved to the Eaststand?

let’s face facts they will never make its standing. I expect grants to be applied for and they will never get a penny unless it’s all seater, football league if we like it or not is all seater.

Can someone explain this whole business with how when a club reeaches a certain level, their stadium has to become all seater and within a certain time period? It keeps confusing me!

If LDP’s post is correct and I am not questioning it, then clearly there are no rules any more about all seater stadiums.

all standing so we can bring back knees up mother brown, and lets go fu**.ing mental. Then we should also have our new supporters club integrated with the design, and to fend of the health and safety muppets, just place large visible disclaimer signs on the 4th stand.

There must be rules to say you cant have terracing at a certain level, because I cant think of any clubs in the championship for example that have any terracing at all, except Im not sure if sc*nthorpe do or not?
