Same as Otto I was a 'Bird stalwart but have now switched allegience to the Priory, perfect pre match boozer and feels like home now, the session we had with the players after the semi final was immense! Yes indeed,a good ol sing song with the players, and good work from Cottonsocks and his team.

Anyone ever been there on a non-matchday? It's more depressing than a Weatherspoons!

Priory has great memories for me. When I was at LGS in the sixties I used to take a girlfriend into the hay-loft for a ... Dry warm and cosy, and the occational rat/mouse only made her come closer.
Not at the Ka$$am very often but always pop into the Priory for a beer and a rememberance smile.

Blackbird for me. Always has been always will be. As i always come to the ground by bus its always been the most convenient, especially when the priory was at its soulless worst. I might try the priory once as i've hard nothing but good things about it for some time now, but will remain committed to the 'bird. Even if no one else does!

I prefer the Priory. All my friends gather there. In my head.

The Priory? has become habitual on match days, if it ups the game a bit it will probally remain so. It should try and cater for the more decerning ale drinker and have a selection of 'real ales.' Re-introducing a Marquee is an essential step, so well done, and imo you just can't serve up burgers and hot dogs without FRIED Onions! tsk. Some 'Football songs' played an hour before kick off to get the place rocking would be great. ta.

Unfortunately I am going to have go back on my words. I am not going to visit the Priory for the first time this evening. However you may see me pass it with loving eyes. I'll be wearing a red jumper with rats playing basketball on it! ;D

I have been posting on the Bury Forum and told them that the Priory always welcome all fans...........and that Tim will have plenty of water available for their whippets and ferrets. They have ask Tim to have some 'chip barms' available and thinks he only does half shandy's and sherry!.....of well.
Hopefully the Priory will have the pleasure to see many Bury supporters.

Thanks a lot Bob, the bar and bogs will now be full of noverners in flat caps and with ferrets down their pants.

The Priory is our unofficial clubhouse, I really like the place on a matchday, you are with fellow Oxford fans and I personally get a sense on belonging being in there on a match day.
Deep.
